Here’s How You Can Get Kate Middleton’s Gorgeous Blowout!

We all know the feeling – you emerge from the salon looking sleek and polished, but a few hours later… frizz galore! With the heat and humidity, it is hard for a blowout to stay in place. Luckily, we’ve found 5 products that will give you a long-lasting blow dry.

1. Bumble and bumble all-style blow dry.

Blowouts tend to make our hair flat and lifeless within a couple of hours. By prepping your damp hair with this heat-protecting cream, your locks will stay voluminous and frizz-free all day long. The best part? This cream is filled with oil-absorbing powders which will keep the grease at bay.

Great hair starts with great tools. Drybar’s powerful dryer cuts down on drying time and seals cuticles, without tiring your arms out. Enriched with conditioning Nano Beads and NanoIonic minerals, it refreshes, hydrates and conditions hair too!

3. Conair Tourmaline Ceramic Medium Round Porcupine Brush.

No blowout is complete without a round brush. Conair’s brush has a combination of boar and nylon bristles which help distribute your scalp’s natural oils to give you silky hair. The ceramic-coated barrel retains heat and styles your locks faster.

4. Kerastase Touche Finale.

Do your tresses fight against every heat styling tool? Tame your rebellious locks with Kerastase’s lightweight serum. Known to add tons of shine and softness to hair, this serum is a life-saver. Add a drop or two after drying your hair to keep the fly aways in place.

5. Bed Head Masterpiece Hairspray.

Finish off your look with a few spritzes of this hairspray. Not only is suited for all types and textures of hair, but it also fights against humidity to protect your hairstyle. Mist it on for serious hold and mega shine.

Try out these 5 products for swingy, glossy tresses like Kate Middleton’s. Frizz, it’s time for you to leave!
Stop Everything! You’ve Got To Try These Colour Combinations.

colour

It might seem like an easy thing to grasp, but with the wide array of shades and tones available, it’s more confusing than you’d think. This is an obstacle for many women who often pair colours which simply don’t go together, and consequently ruin their outfits. Even if you’ve mastered the cut and fabric of your clothes, if you can’t match colours together correctly, your outfit will simply fall flat!

When you’re stumped on what to wear it is easy to reach for basic colours, like black and white, or you’ve unconsciously bought all navy separates this season, we all go through phases when we keep turning to the same colours when getting dressed in the morning. But lets break out of that rut shall we.

There are plenty of gorgeous combinations to try this season—think: blush and plum paired with cardinal red, or a preppy combination of tan, navy, or rust with purple. After some digging, we have put together some colour combinations that will get you inspired to com your current wardrobe colour scheme.

orange+blue/grey

red+blue

mustard+red

red+pink

Contrast is key. Light top, dark bottom, light shoes. Or dark top, light bottom, dark shoes. You want a good amount of contrast among the three. Experiment a bit. Go to your closet, pull similar items, and put them together for yourself so you can see how they look together. It’s a lot easier than you think.

Once you get the hang of it, you’ll no longer need this article and you’ll be able to figure out how to put together any colour combination, and not just the basics. If you’re still not convinced, try them out in little doses as nail colour and lipstick or accessories.

Would you try these out? Leave us a comment below if you love it. And if you are an expert in colour co-ordinating, we would love to see how you go about styling yourself

So You Love Alia Bhatt? Here’s How To Get Her Look

Bollywood’s newest darling, Alia Bhatt created quite a stir in her latest releases 2 States and Highway . While her clothes weren’t the focus for these two movies, we saw her climb the fashion ladder during all the press events and other social dos she’s attended in the short while she’s been in the limelight.

Her Clothes                                                                       Alia loves her blazers. She pairs them over dresses, trousers, basically anything and everything. And it’s a great trick – you can nail some of that multi-layering and when you’re not waxed but want to be super chic, it’s all you need. Get one in every colour!
She isn’t shy of experimenting with her lengths. We’ve seen her in everything from short teeny-meeny skater dresses, mid-length classics to ankle grazing maxis.

Her Hair                                                                          Here’s another thing she doesn’t mind experimenting with but she keeps it on a very romantic, girly level.

Lot’s of braids, teeny-bopper ponytails and side-swept curls. While it compliments her clothes, I wish she’d switch it up a bit and give us a slick middle parting and move away from the Gossip Girl hair dos for a bit.

Her Make-Up                                                                  I have one word for her skin – flawless! And you could see it too, though all of 2 States. How I’d kill for skin like Alia Bhatt! She doesn’t seem like she uses too much make-up.

So she’s already shown us she’s a great actress, do you think she’s going to make it as Bollywood’s next fashionista?
